C-4 Installing and Configuring Windows 2000 and Windows NT 4.0
Installing Microsoft Windows
Use the following procedure to set up and perform a clean Windows 2000 Operating System installation on your
server.
1.
Insert the Windows 2000 CD into the CD-ROM drive and boot your system by pressing
CTRL+ALT+Delete.

have chosen to manually specify an adapter". Currently, Setup will load support for the following mass
storage devices.

When the following message is displayed, select "Other" and then press Enter.
Select the SCSI Adapter your want from the following list, or select "Other" if you have a device support
disk provided by an adapter manufacturer
5.
Insert the "Windows 2000 OEM-DISK" diskette into the floppy drive, and press Enter. A list of mass
storage devices is displayed.
6.
Select the RAID disk array controller installed in your server from the list of mass storage devices.
7.
Follow the messages on the screen to continue to install.

8.
After installing Windows 2000, logon to the system using the administrator account or other account,
