As long as the automatic switch on of the RF module
is inhibited, the throttle limit or the throttle/pitch con-
trol stick lets the output signal of channel 6 be out of
idle range.
Tip
Monitor the influence of the Throttle Limit Control
through the BASE submenu Servo. Remember that in
the mz-24 Pro HoTT transmitter that servo output 6
controls the throttle servo.
Idle Basic Settings
Open the throttle limit all the way to the end point.
Move the throttle/pitch control stick to the maximum
pitch position and activate the standard throttle curve
through the FUNCTION submenu THR.CRV (page
160).
Throttle Curve
Access the throttle curve settings display through the
FUNCTION submenu THR.CRV.
If the standard gas curve has automatically been
changed after a model memory has been initialized,
temporarily reset it to: POINT L = 000%, POINT 3 =
+050% and POINT H = +100%:

Notice
The position of the throttle trimming lever is irrel-
evant during the reset since it does not work
when the throttle limiter is open.
Without starting the gas engine, completely open the
carburetor by adjusting the throttle servo mechani-
cally and by adjusting the servo 6 travel in the BASE
submenu E.P.A (page 62).
Next, completely close the throttle limiter by turning
the proportional dial DV2 all the way clockwise. Use
the throttle/pitch control stick trimming control to
move the trimming position mark into the Motor OFF
position.
Notice
The position of the throttle/pitch control stick is
irrelevant when the gas limiter is closed.  If only
using the throttle limiter when adjusting the car-
buretor linkage, the throttle/pitch control stick can re-
main in the maximum pitch position while switching be-
tween full throttle (limiter open) and motor OFF
(limiter closed).

While the gas limiter is closed, adjust the carburetor
linkage so that the carburetor is completely closed.
Make sure that the throttle servo does not mechan-
ically over-travel in the two extreme positions (full
throttle/motor OFF).
Lastly, the setting range of idle trimming must be
matched with Point L of the gas curve. On the Throt-
tle Curve display, adjust Point L to approximately +15
to +18%, as shown in the example below:

To precisely adjust a seamless transition from idle
trimming to the throttle curve: while the throttle limiter
is closed and idle trimming is completely open, move
the pitch control stick back and forth slightly at the
minimum stop. The throttle servo should not move.
Any subsequent adaptation of the gas curve must be
done later during flight.
The motor should always be started with the throttle
limiter completely closed. Only adjust the idle with the
throttle/pitch control stick trimming control, and only
turn off the motor with digital trimming.
