MAINTENANCE GUIDE
3)
When the number in the bottom row reaches "3", KEY 1 should be released and non-volatile settings mode will
be entered.
"NV", indicating that non-volatile settings mode has been entered, is displayed on the bottom row of the LCD and
a two-digit number will appear on the bottom right. The left number "0" indicates which non-volatile code has been
chosen and the right number "4" is the non-volatile code data.
Note 1:
If KEY 1 is not released when the number reaches "3", the number will continue increasing by one
for every second that the key is pressed down. After the number reaches "9", it will return to "0".
Caution:
If KEY 1 is released before or after the number reaches "3", the power supply will be turned OFF and
the operation must be restarted.
Note 2:
If a paper jam occurs when the power switch is turned ON, non-volatile settings mode can be entered.
However, non-volatile settings mode cannot be entered if an incorrect value is entered in ROM
CHECK or RAM CHECK when the power supply is turned ON.
