Step
1 (The HVPS CR/TR/DB is defective.)
Does the problem occur while printing with the
window (the exit window for the laser beam) in the
ROS assembly covered by the paper?
2 (The ROS assembly is defective.)
Does the problem occur while printing with only half
of the window (the exit window for the laser beam) in
the ROS assembly covered by the paper (the sides of
the window are not covered by the paper)?
3 (The EP toner cartridge is defective.)
Does the problem recur if the EP toner cartridge is
replaced with a new one?
Completely black paper
(No image is transferred and the paper is completely black.)
Are any parts dirty, broken, malformed, incorrectly installed or different
from those listed in the specifications?
• Principle Parts to be Checked:
(1) EP toner cartridge, (2) HVPS, (3) Drive assembly, (4) ROS assembly
(5) MCU PWB, (6) Harness assembly HVPS
