Step
1 (The laser beam is obstructed.)
Is there any foreign matter or grime in the path of the
laser beam between the ROS assembly and the drum?
2 (The HVPS DB is defective.)
Does the HVPS correctly contact the drive assembly
spring?
3 (The image transfer process is malfunctioning.)
Is the image created by the toner correctly transferred
from the drum onto the paper?
• While printing, turn the power OFF at the point at
which you think the image is being transferred onto
the paper and check the image on the drum.
4 (The EP toner cartridge is defective.)
Does the problem recur if the EP toner cartridge is
replaced with a new one?
Blank paper (white paper)
(No image is printed at all and the paper is left completely white.)
Are any parts dirty, broken, malformed, incorrectly installed or different
from those listed in the specifications?

(5) ROS assembly, (6) MCU PWB, (7) Harness assembly HVPS
