(The laser beam is obstructed.)
Is there any foreign matter or grime in the path of the
laser beam between the ROS assembly and the drum?

(The EP toner cartridge is defective.)
Does the problem recur if the EP toner cartridge is
replaced with a new one?

(The heat roller is damaged.)
Are there scratches around the circumference of the
heat roller?

(The paper is not being fed through the printer
properly.)
Are there any irregularities, such as burrs, foreign
matter or grime, in the paper transport path?
White lines in the print
(White lines where the image is too light or missing appear on the paper in the
direction in which the paper was fed into the printer.)
Are any parts dirty, broken, malformed, incorrectly installed or different
from those listed in the specifications?
• Principle Parts to be Checked:
(1) EP toner cartridge, (2) MCU PWB, (3) Heat roller, (4) Pressure roller
(5) Fuser assembly, (6) ROS window, (7) ROS assembly

Remedy (if not normal)
Remove any foreign matter or grime
obstructing the path of the laser beam
between the ROS assembly and the drum.
Replace the EP toner cartridge.
Replace the heat roller.
Replace the appropriate parts.
