reset

Use this command to reset the switch without losing any user-defined configuration settings.
Syntax
reset [unit | cancel]
Parameters
unit
cancel
Defaults
If no unit ID is specified, the entire system will be reset.
If cancel is not specified, the system will be reset.
Mode
Switch command, read-write.
Usage
A C3 switch can also be reset with the RESET button located on its front panel. For information on
how to do this, refer to the Enterasys C3 Installation Guide shipped with your switch.

Examples
This example shows how to reset the system:
C3(su)->reset
Are you sure you want to reload the stack? (y/n) y

This example shows how to reset unit 1:
C3(su)->reset 1

This switch is manager of the stack.

This example shows how to cancel a scheduled system reset:
C3(su)->reset cancel
Reset cancelled

reset at

Use this command to schedule a system reset at a specific future time. This feature is useful for
scheduling resets at a time when the switch will be less busy.
(Optional) Specifies a unit to be reset.
(Optional) Cancels a reset scheduled using the reset at or reset in
commands.
