Function Settings
This function allows you to change the "soft keys" displayed in the
standby screen.
You can register up to three destination tabs to be displayed on the
initial standby screen. Note that your favorite tabs will not be dis-
played when the standby screen includes three tabs or less, even if you
register them.
The following tabs can be registered.
Not registered / All / Numeric List / AB / CD / EF / GH / IJ /KL / MN /
OP / QRS / TU / VW / XYZ / Symbol / Group01 / Group02 / Group03 /
Group04 / Group05 / Group06 / Group07 / Group08 / Group09 /
Group10 / Group11 / Group12 / Group13 / Group14 / Group15 /
Group16 / Group17 / Group18 / Group19 / Group20 / Group21 /
Group22 / Group23 / Group24 / Group25 / Group26 / Group27 /
Group28 / Group29 / Group30 / Group31 / Group32
This sets the period of time until the copy/fax screen returns to the
standby screen.
■Copy Screen/Scanner Screen
"Reset time" ................. When the machine does not operate for a
set period of time after copying or scanning
is completed, the selected settings are reset
(returned to their original values).
The reset time can be set.
"Reset After Scan" ....... When it is set to ON, the resolution, zoom or
other settings will be reset after the docu-
ment is scanned.
When it is set to OFF, values will be reset
after the selected reset time.
■Fax Screen
When the machine does not operate for a set period of time after fax-
ing, the selected settings are reset (returned to their original values).
The reset time can be set.
Each type of sound can be set.
■Volume / Key Touch Volume / Job Complete Volume
You can adjust the volume of the ringer, key touch volume, alarm or
job complete sound.
■Key Touch Tone
You can change the tone when pressing the buttons.
Different tones can be set for fax, copy and scan.
■Fax Ringer
You can set the ringer for fax reception without the optional hand-
set.
