Drum unit / Toner bottle

CAUTION
●Never dispose of the drum unit or toner bottle in fi re. They can explode and catch fi re.
● Keep the toner out of your eyes. If the toner gets in your eyes, fl ush with water and seek medical
attention.
Important
● Do not expose the drum unit to direct sunlight or strong light. Do not expose it to ordinary indoor
lighting for more than fi ve minutes.
● Do not touch the surface of the drum with your hands. Doing so will prevent the unit from functioning
properly.
●Keep water, oils, and other similar substances away from the drum unit and toner bottle.
●Do not open the bags including the drum unit and toner bottle before installation.

The drum unit should be replaced after around 70,000 Letter-sized copies on MFX-2350, and 80,000 copies on
MFX-2850 with toner coverage of 6%. (When printing three Letter-sized pages in a row)

Note
· The toner coverage is a value that indicates the amount of toner applied when printing a single page.
· The number of pages previously described is only a rough fi gure, which will vary depending on the kinds of documents you
use and how they are printed.
· When the time approaches for replacing the drum unit or the toner bottle, a message will appear announcing it. The message
will indicate how many pages you can continue printing before replacement. (The actual count is a rough fi gure, which
means that the unit could not print before the number becomes 0.)

Important
