Security function and feature

The security function has the following fi ve menus.
Closed transmission
Closed reception
ID check transmission
Dial double-push
Check broadcast destinations

Closed transmission
Closed transmission limits fax transmission to that to a destination machine having a security function and
the same passcode registered. If the passcode fails to match, the transmission will be aborted, preventing fax
messages from being erroneously transmitted. Since the destination of fax transmission is limited, you can avoid
sending fax messages to a wrong destination by entry error.
To transmit fax messages using this function, the receiver machine needs to have a security function and the
same passcode registered as that of the sender machine.
