Limitation on closed transmission and ID check transmission functions
Closed and ID check transmission functions are not available in the following case even when these functions are
set to ON (documents will be transmitted even when the other machine is of other brand, or the passcodes are
not matched).
●Manual transmission (Dial transmission using the dial or the hook key of a handset)
■
ID check transmission
When ID check transmission is set to ON, faxes will not be transmitted as a communication error in the following
cases. (Error code T.2.2)
●The lower four digits of the fax number you dialed and those registered in the other machine are not matched.
●The fax number is not registered in the other machine.
