Programs to be Installed

The MFX-2850/MFX-2350 provide the program required for using the Offi ceBridge func-
tions, which allows you to use the PC-Fax or network printer and realize the paperless offi ce.
They also provide some driver software required for connecting the MFX-2850/MFX-2350 to
the PC using USB cable.
These programs, driver software and their operation manuals are included in the Installa-
tion Disk attached to the MFP. This section introduces the products contained in the Instal-
lation Disk.

Utility programs

The following seven utility programs are included in the Offi ceBridge:

" OB Pro InfoMonitor"
This utility program is used to inform the user of newly arrived documents. It can inform of not
only newly arrived documents but transmission or print results depending on the setting.
For more details on how to use "OB Pro InfoMonitor", refer to "Setting notifi cation for newly
arrived documents" in "Offi ceBridge Reference Manual".

" OB Pro Document Download Manager"
This utility program is used to automatically download received documents. You can specify
the document type, download destination or fi le format. In addition, you can set the time for
downloading.
The setting target is an individual user only.
For more details on how to use "OB Pro Document Download Manager", refer to "Setting
automatic downloading" in "Offi ceBridge Reference Manual".

" OB Pro Backup Utility"
This utility program is used to automatically download received documents. You can specify the
document type, download destination or fi le format. In addition, you can set the time to download.
You can set the target to multiple users/devices, or documents in each folder.
■
" CoverPage Editor"
This utility program is used to create or edit the cover page attached on the top of the document
for fax transmission. As destination information (company name, department name, name etc.)
are automatically inserted, you do not need to create the cover page for every destination.
