You can set defaults for scanning. Select the setting according to your usage.
Note
Default settings establish the status when a document is loaded or the <Reset> key is pressed to return to the standby
screen.
Reference
The default settings are re-established if the machine is left without any operation for a designated period of time. You
can set the time to return to the default settings. (page 5-32)
