Setting reset

●Automatic reset
When no operation is performed for a set period of time after copying, the machine will return
to the default setting status.
The machine is programmed to reset in 3 minutes, however this can be changed by the user. (page
5-32)
●Using the <Reset> key to reset the settings
Press the <Reset> key to return to the default value. After copying, press the <Reset> key to
reset the settings for the next user.

Rotate copy

● Even if the paper is not loaded in the same orientation as the document, the machine will
automatically rotate the image for coping.
● The rotating direction is counterclockwise.
● Even in the case of zoom in/out copying, the image will be rotated so that the document should
fi t on the paper. Note that the image will not be rotated when the zoomed image is larger than
the width of 11"×17".
*Example: Auto magnifi cation or 129% copying from Letter to 11"×17"
● Rotation is not performed when the paper size and magnifi cation are specifi ed.
● Rotation is not performed for custom size documents or when the document size cannot be
automatically detected.
● Rotation is not performed during Combine copy, Repeat, or XY zoom.
● Rotation copying is not performed to paper sizes other than Letter, Letter , Half-letter, Half-
letter .
