How to select the reception mode

Select the reception mode according to your usage. You can determine which is the best reception
mode to select by answering the following questions.
What is this machine used for?
A For the fax only.
B For the fax, phone, and answering
machine.
How is the fax received?
A Answering the phone, receive the fax manually.
B Not answering the phone, receive the fax
automatically.
How frequently do you use
the phone and fax?
A The fax is used more frequently.
B The phone is used more frequently.

Basic Settings (User Install)
Auto receiving mainly for the fax
(Fax ready mode)
Faxes are automatically received, but the phone
can be answered while ringing.
Primarily using the phone
(Tel ready mode)
Sets the priority to receiving the call, not the fax.
▲The fax cannot be received when you are absent.
Receiving the phone call with
priority given to the fax
(Fax/Tel ready mode-Fax priority)
The machine will quietly receive the fax without
ringing.
▲ The fax reception mode continues for a while after
the reception. Therefore, in case of the phone,
the calling party is made to wait and charged for
phone.
Auto receiving with priority given
to the phone

(Tel/Fax ready mode-Tel priority)
The reception mode starts when the phone rings.
Therefore, in case of the phone, the calling party
will not be charged for phone and the fax is
received automatically.
▲ In case of the phone, when the phone rings more
than the preset number of times, the calling party
will be charged even if you are absent.
Using both the answering machine
and fax

(Ans/Fax ready mode)
In case of the phone, the answering machine plays
the message. In case of the fax, the fax is received
