Blocking Junk Faxes

You can block junk faxes several ways, such as only allowing faxes to be received from
numbers registered in the speed-dial or by setting the machine to block faxes from
designated numbers.
Operating tips
There are three ways to block junk faxes.
Mode 1 : This is the mode to reject the reception from the other party not registered in the speed-dial.
The last four digits of the registered fax number are checked against the other party's ID, and
the fax will only be received if they match.
Mode 2 : This is the mode to register specifi c junk fax numbers, and then the machine blocks any faxes
from those numbers. The lower four digits of the applicable fax numbers are registered. Up to
50 (fax numbers) can be registered.
Mode 3 : This mode is a combination of Modes 1 and 2. The machine blocks faxes from any numbers not
registered in the speed-dial. The machine also blocks faxes from the other party registered as
junk fax numbers.
OFF : Junk faxes are not blocked.
