Registering the passcode

Operating tips
●Register a passcode required for closed transmission and reception.
●Set the protect passcode in advance. (page 5-34)
●The default (0000) of passcode means that a passcode is not set.
●Do not forget the passcode.
● You can use closed transmission and reception without registering a passcode; however, registering a pass-
code is recommended to strengthen the security function.
● For more details about verifi cation of the passcodes, refer to "Communication range of closed transmis-
sion" and "Communication range of closed reception" on page 3-99.
