Contrast (Density)

Adjusting the scan contrast (density) allows you to compensate for any excessive lightness or
darkness of the documents you are scanning.
For more details about the color contrast (density) setting, refer to "Setting the image settings for
color scanning" on page 4-65.
Note
You can set the color contrast (density) setting only in MFX-2850.

[Printer] or [Network].

right to darken.

To avoid confusing the Light and
Dark settings, just remember,
— "Light lightens" and "Dark
darkens" — to keep it straight.
