Points to Note before Installation

• When installing the Inner Finisher or the Buffer Path simultaneously, be sure to install this
equipment first.
• If the Inner Finisher or the Buffer Path is installed, this equipment cannot be installed
unless it is removed. For details of installation procedure, refer to the Service Manual.
• Installation procedures for the USB Device Port-E1 and USB Device Port-E2 and USB
Device Port-E3 are similar.
• Illustrations and photo for the Image Reader and Printer Cover are mixed but the steps are
similar.
• When installing the Multimedia Reader/Writer or Card Reader (sales company's option),
the USB Device Port must be installed beforehand.
• The Multimedia Reader/Writer cannot be used in combination with the Card Reader (sales
company's option).

Check Items when Turning OFF the Main Power

Check that the main power is OFF.
1) Turn OFF the main power switch.
2) Be sure that display in the Control Panel and the lamp of the main power supply are turned
off, then disconnect the power plug.
