Now, you have finished with the procedures to replace the barcode reader.

Remove the connector (JJ38).
When removing the connector, hold a notch
on the connector without pulling a cable.
Caution
Giving a strong pull to the cable may cause
it to be broken.

Remove the barcode reader.

2 screws (M2 x 6)
•
1 washer for each screw

Install the new barcode reader.
•
2 screws (M2 x 6)
•
1 washer for each screw
Move the barcode reader in the direction of the arrow
shown in the figure to fix it.

Connect the connector (JJ38) that was removed
in Step 3.

Install the light shield cover that was removed in
Step 2.
•
1 tapping screw (M4 x 10)
•
1 screw (M4 x 8)
Attach the sponge to the right side of the light shield
cover, and wrap the cable with it.
