1. Sliding roof drive gear assembly coupler
9) Connect sliding roof sub wire to sliding roof control relay.
10) Check voltage and resistance at the following condition.
1. Sliding roof control relay
2. Sliding roof sub wire

All switches OFF
Ignition switch ON, limit switch 2 OFF
tilt switch OFF
Ignition switch ON, limit switch 2 ON
slide switch OFF
Ignition switch ON, limit switch 2 ON,
slide switch CLOSE, limit switch 1 ON
Ignition switch ON, limit switch 1 ON,
slide switch CLOSE, limit switch 2 ON
All switches OFF
Ignition switch ON, limit switch 1 OFF,
limit switch 2 OFF, tilt switch OFF
Ignition switch ON, limit switch 2 OFF,
tilt switch DOWN, limit switch 1 OFF
Ignition switch ON, limit switch 1 ON,
slide switch OFF
Ignition switch ON, limit switch 2 ON,
slide switch OFF
11) After all inspection are done, put limit switch, wire terminals
If any of measured value does not below standard values, re-
place sliding roof control relay.

back to sliding roof drive gear assembly coupler and install lim-
it switches to sliding roof drive gear assembly. Finally reinstall
sliding roof drive gear assembly to the vehicle.
