Symptom List:
P0134-1/1 O2 SENSOR STAYS AT CENTER
P0140-1/2 O2 SENSOR STAYS AT CENTER
Test Note: All symptoms listed above are diagnosed using the same tests.
The title for the tests will be P0134-1/1 O2 SENSOR STAYS AT
CENTER.
When Monitored and Set Condition:
P0134-1/1 O2 SENSOR STAYS AT CENTER
When Monitored: With the engine running for more than 2 minutes and engine
temperature greater than 76°C (170°F).
Set Condition: The unpstream oxygen sensor signal voltage is between 0.35 volts and
0.55 volts for 1 minute.
P0140-1/2 O2 SENSOR STAYS AT CENTER
When Monitored: With the engine running for more than 2 minutes and engine
temperature greater than 76°C (170°F).
Set Condition: The unpstream oxygen sensor signal voltage is between 0.35 volts and
0.55 volts for 1 minute.
O2S SENSOR GROUND CIRCUIT OPEN
O2S SIGNAL CIRCUIT OPEN
WIRING HARNESS INTERMITTENT PROBLEM
O2 SENSOR SIGNAL CIRCUIT CHECK WITH DRBIII
PCM
TEST

Turn the ignition on.
With the DRB, read the DTC's.
Is the Good Trip Counter displayed and equal to zero?
Yes → Go To 2
No
POSSIBLE CAUSES
ACTION
→ Go To 6
