Symptom:
P0107-MAP SENSOR VOLTS TOO LOW
When Monitored and Set Condition:
P0107-MAP SENSOR VOLTS TOO LOW
When Monitored: With the engine RPM above 416 but less than 3520, the TP sensor
voltage less than 1.13 volts, and battery voltage greater than 10.4 volts.
Set Condition: The MAP sensor signal voltage is below 0.1 volt for 2.0 seconds with the
engine running.
MAP SENSOR WIRING HARNESS INTERMITTENT PROBLEM
MAP SENSOR WIRING HARNESS OBSERVABLE
MAP SENSOR 5-VOLT SUPPLY CIRCUIT OPEN
MAP SENSOR 5-VOLT SUPPLY CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND
MAP SENSOR SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO SENSOR GROUND CIRCUIT
MAP SENSOR SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND
MAP SENSOR
PCM (5-VOLT SUPPLY)
PCM (SIGNAL CIRCUIT)
TEST

Start the engine.
Allow the engine to idle.
With the DRB, read the MAP Sensor voltage.
Is the MAP Sensor voltage below 0.6 volts?
Yes → Go To 3
→ Go To 2
No

Turn the ignition on.
With the DRB, read the MAP Sensor voltage.
Is the MAP Sensor voltage below 3.19 volts?
Yes → Go To 3
→ Go To 11
No

Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the MAP sensor harness connector.
Turn the ignition on.
Measure the MAP Sensor 5-Volt Supply circuit at the MAP Sensor harness connector.
Is the voltage above 4.5 volts?
Yes → Go To 4
→ Go To 8
No
