Symptom:
P0121-TPS VOLTAGE DOES NOT AGREE WITH MAP
When Monitored and Set Condition:
P0121-TPS VOLTAGE DOES NOT AGREE WITH MAP
When Monitored: With the engine running and no MAP sensor or TP sensor trouble codes
set.
Set Condition: The PCM performs two separate tests. First, when the manifold vacuum
is low, the TP sensor signal should be high, RPM between 1000 and 1500. Second, when the
manifold vacuum is high, the TP sensor signal should be low, the RPM above 1500. If the
proper TP sensor voltage is not detected when the two conditions are met, the DTC will be
set after 4 seconds.

Note: Diagnose any MAP sensor or TP sensor DTC's first before continuing.
Review the Freeze Frame RPM information to determine if the throttle voltage failed
during the PCM high or low test.
Check the throttle plate and linkage for a binding condition.
Disconnect the TP sensor harness connector.
Inspect TP sensor wire colors for the correct cavities.
Note: Check connectors - Clean/repair as necessary.
