retransmit the request. If no response is received from the server after the specified number of attempts, authentication fails,
and network access is not granted.
When a client logs off, it sends an EAPOL-logoff message, causing the switch port to transition to the unauthorized state.
If the link state of a port transitions from up to down, or if an EAPOL-logoff frame is received, the port returns to the unauthorized
state.

4.4.1 Port Access Control

4.4.1.1 Port Access Control Configuration
This page is to Enable/Disable the port access control administrative mode.
Administrative Mode - This selector lists the two options for administrative mode: enable and disable. The default
value is disabled.
4.4.1.2 Port Access Control Port Configuration
Port - Selects the port to be configured. When the selection is changed, a screen refresh will occur causing all
fields to be updated for the newly selected port. All physical interfaces are valid.
Control Mode - This selector lists the options for control mode. The control mode is only set if the link status of the
port is link up. The options are:
force unauthorized: The authenticator port access entity (PAE) unconditionally sets the controlled port to
unauthorized
force authorized: The authenticator PAE unconditionally sets the controlled port to authorized.
