If desired, change the update or query intervals (in seconds) for the following items:
Status URL — Determines how often the SMP 351 sends its current operations
status (capturing, uploading, idle, offline, and so on) to the Matterhorn server.
Recording URL — Determines how often the SMP 351 sends the status of
individual recordings to the Matterhorn server.
Capture Agent Configuration URL — Sets how often the SMP 351 sends its
configuration settings (current encoding/layout presets, firmware version) to the
Matterhorn server.
Matterhorn Schedule URL — Sets how often the SMP 351 checks for schedule
updates on the Matterhorn server.
To change the intervals, enter a value within the corresponding field or click the Up and
Down arrows alongside the field to change the value.

Click Save to save and apply the settings. Alternatively, click Reset to set all fields to
the default values or Cancel to discard all changes.

Once settings are saved, the SMP 351 creates a matterhorn_config.xml file and
saves the file to the internal hard drive. If desired, click on the File Management tab
and view the file list to verify that the file has been created and saved.

Verify that the SMP 351 has been correctly configured for use with Matterhorn:
a.
Log in to the Web interface of the Matterhorn server.
b.
Select the Administrative Tools option.
c.
Click on the Capture Agents tab. The name of the SMP 351 that was set in
step 5 must appear in the list of capture agents within a few minutes of saving the
settings within the SMP 351.
d.
If the SMP 351 does not appear in the capture agents list, verify that the Matterhorn
system user name, password, and core address are correct in the settings in the
Opencast Scheduling tab of the Schedule Settings page in the SMP 351.
Confirm whether the other URLs (for status, recordings, configuration, schedule,
and so forth) require custom settings and update the URLs if needed.

Click Save. The unit name of the SMP should now appear in the list of capture
agents in the Matterhorn system.
