Setting the IP address, port numbers, and other network settings
In the Networking pane you set the IP addresses for the unit, gateway, and DNS server,
as well as the subnet mask and port numbers for a variety of port types.
To configure network settings:
NOTE: Changes to any setting in this page are not applied and saved until you click
Save.
1.
In the System Settings page, click the Expand button for the Networking pane to
expand it. The pane opens.
2.
To use DHCP to automatically assign an IP address and related settings, select (check)
the Use DHCP: check box. The fields for setting the IP address, subnet mask, default
gateway address, and DNS server address are inaccessible (grayed out). Proceed to
step 4.
3.
If not using DHCP, type the appropriate values for the corresponding IP addresses and
mask into the IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, and DNS Server
fields.
4.
To change port numbers for the
protocols listed in the lower portion of
this panel (SFTP, SSH, Telnet, HTTP,
SNMP, or HTTPS/SSL), type the new
number into the desired field or use
the Up and Down arrows to change
the values. The standard (default) port
numbers are shown in the image at right.
NOTE: The Telnet port is used by Extron DataViewer software and for Extron SIS
communication and programming.
