Configuring and Labeling the Digital I/O Ports
To configure the ports:

The Advanced Features page opens to the Browser Client and Apps panes.
Within the Apps pane, click the Configure button corresponding to the Digital I/O
application in the Actions column. The application opens in a new window.
Within the Apps panel of the Advanced Features page, click Configure in the row
for the app named "Digital I/O". The Configure Digital I/O window opens, with
the Config tab selected. The table contains one row for each of the four digital I/O
ports on the SMP 351 (see image below).
Change the settings and labels for each port as desired:
Port Name — To change the port name, open the Port Name field by clicking in

the Port Name column for the desired port, then edit or replace the existing text.
Mode — To change the digital input/output mode, click in the Mode column for the

desired port to activate the drop-down list, then select an option: Output, Input,
Input with Pull-up, or Output with Pull-up.
"On" state label and "off" state label — By default, when a digital I/O port is

active (on, closed), it is labeled as "on", and when it is inactive (off, open), it is
labeled as "off". To change the labels for the on and off states, open the text
editing field by clicking in the appropriate column (On Label or Off Label), then
edit or replace the existing text.
