In the Layout Presets panel, select (click on) an unassigned preset in the list
and click Save Preset. The Preset Name field is now editable and changes from
"[unassigned]" (left panel in the figure below) to "PIP PRESET
figure below) the default name for that preset number.
The preset saves the settings for the arrangement, size, aspect ratios, and locations of
windows. Layout presets do not include background files or metadata content.
NOTE: Any of the presets including the factory defaults, can be changed, renamed,
and saved.

Use the default preset name or replace the default preset name with custom text.

Click anywhere else in the Web page to save the preset name.
Configuring metadata content
If desired, select and configure up to four fields of metadata text to
appear in the layout. Metadata elements are used not only in some
layouts, but they are also used as part of stand-alone on-screen
displays (OSDs), as part of the current events and upcoming
events. They are saved as part of the recorded file but not saved in
the layout presets.

Select the type of metadata from the Field: drop-down
list. Options in this list correspond to the 15 elements that
comprise the Dublin Core

metatdata field types, see

an abbreviated summary of the Dublin Core metadata, see the
table that follows (on the next page).

Select the Enable: check box to have the corresponding line
of metadata appear in the layout. Deselect it to omit that type
of metadata.
