4.
Type the address of the destination server into the Server Address: field.
For FTP and SFTP servers, the server address must be given as the resolvable
•
address of the server itself (for example, ftp.extron.com/ or 10.1.25.41). This serves
as the home level of the FTP server. It is an address that already exists on the server
and that the SMP 351 has permission to access. The destination directory (see
step 6) will be configured for a subdirectory within the home level of the FTP server.
The subdirectory must already have been created, and the SMP 351 must have
permission to read, write, and delete files in that location.
For CIFS servers, the server address can be an exact subfolder that already exists,
•
or it can be a root directory, and the subfolder can be created on demand based
on the destination directory entry in step 6 below. A CIFS server requires a full path
to be specified ("declared") here. This portion of the address must exist prior to
connecting the SMP 351, and the SMP 351 must have permission to read, write,
and delete files in that location.

Enter a port number in the FTP port, SFTP port, or CIFS port field, or use the Up
and Down arrows to change the value.
6.
Enter the name of the target directory (subdirectory) for the recording files into the
Destination Directory field. This is the directory to which files are uploaded.
For FTP and SFTP servers, this subdirectory must preexist connection to the
•
SMP 351, and the SMP 351 must have permission to read, write, and delete files in
this location.
For CIFS servers, this directory can be one that was created prior to SMP 351
•
connection, or it can be created on demand.
