If Using a Large-Display phone to program Extension Names: After punching-in:

in the above address, the display will show a list of existing extension numbers and name assignments,

in alphabetical order. If you don't already know the extension number, press the PREV or NEXT key to

toggle through the list. Then press the soft key next to the extension number whose name you want to
change.
To enter the name, use the same procedure as SSD and PSD Names. See figures, pg. 8-20 for

instructions on entering names.
FF-/Soft Keys
During normal phone-system operating mode, each display phone's Extension Name will appear on the
2nd line of the display while the phone is idle. When the phone is used to call another extension, the
destination extension's assigned Name will appear on the 1st line of the display.
