Displaying BGP4+ information
Displays...
The number of routes displayed by the command.
A list of the characters the display uses to indicate the route's status.
The status code appears in the Status column of the display. The status
codes are described in the command's output.
The advertised route's prefix.
The next-hop switch for reaching the advertised route from the switch.
The value of the advertised route's MED attribute. If the route does not
have a metric, this field is blank.
The degree of preference for the advertised route relative to other routes
in the local AS. When the BGP4+ algorithm compares routes on the
basis of local preferences, the route with the higher local preference is
chosen. The preference can have a value from 0 – 4294967295.
The value that this switch associates with routes from a specific
neighbor. For example, if the switch receives routes to the same
destination from two BGP4+ neighbors, the switch prefers the route
from the neighbor with the larger weight.
The advertised route's status, which can be one or more of the following:
A – AGGREGATE. The route is an aggregate route for multiple
networks.
B – BEST. BGP4+ has determined that this is the optimal route to
the destination.
b – NOT-INSTALLED-BEST – BGP4+ has determined that this is the
optimal route to the destination but did not install it in the IPv6
route table because the switch received better routes from other
sources (such as OSPFv3, RIPng, or static IPv6 routes).
E – EBGP. The route was learned through a switch in another AS.
I – IBGP. The route was learned through a switch in the same AS.
L – LOCAL. The route originated on this switch.
The AS-path information for the route.
