Installing a Tape Drive

One full-height or two half-height removable storage devices can be installed
in the bottom two vacant removable media drive bays. To cable the device, see
Chapter 5, "Cabling the Server," or see the procedure below for general
cabling instructions.
1. If the server is on, place the server in Standby mode and disconnect the
power cords. See the "Powering Down the Server" section in Chapter 3.
2. Remove the removable media frame.

3. To install a full-height device, remove both of the blanking panels.
