Installing the Rack Lift Assists
1. Align the two rack lift assists with the right side of the chassis and
secure each with two 6-32 self-threading screws.

2. Repeat on the left side.
Attaching the Slide Rail Assemblies to
the Rack
Attaching the slide rail assemblies to the rack consists of the following:
Marking the server's rack position with the template
Installing cage nuts in the back of the rack
Installing the slide rail assemblies on the rack
