must be installed before powering up the server.

6. Locate the processor bus/core ratio switches for the processor buses. See
the beginning of this section or the right side access panel label for
details.
7. Check the processor bus/core ratio switches of both processor buses to
ensure the switches are in the default position (all switches OFF).
CAUTION: The server may not boot if the bus/core ratio switches are set to a
speed higher than the slowest processor. Failure to properly set the bus/core
ratio switches could cause damage to the server and could void your warranty.
Compaq recommends that the bus/core ratio switches remain in the default
position (all switches OFF).
NOTE: The processor and redundant Processor Power Modules are keyed to ensure
correct alignment.
8. Align the new redundant Processor Power Module, components pointing
toward the front of the server, with the Processor Power Module slot.
Install and secure the Processor Power Module by pushing it into the
slot
and simultaneously rotating the ejector levers inward

Processor Power Module is installed correctly, you will hear the ejectors
click into the locked position.
