Locating the I/O Expansion Slots

The I/O expansion slots are located on the I/O board directly beneath the top
access panel. The I/O slots can be accessed using the PCI Hot Plug access
doors.
To open the PCI Hot Plug access doors:
1. Insert the key and turn it counterclockwise
2. Pull the handle toward the side of the server

WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury from hazardous energy or
damage to the equipment when working on energized servers:
Remove all watches, rings, and any other loose-fitting jewelry.


Avoid the use of conductive tools that could bridge live parts.


WARNING: There is a risk of injury or damage to the equipment from hazardous
energy. The PCI Hot Plug access doors provide access to hazardous energy
circuits.
The doors should remain locked during normal operation.
