5. Open the DIMM socket latches
NOTE: Compaq recommends installing DIMMs in order, starting from the lowest number
socket. The DIMM socket IDs are labeled on the memory expansion board.
6. Align the key slot on the bottom edge of each DIMM with the tab in the
DIMM socket. The DIMM is keyed so that it will only insert one way.
7. Insert each DIMM
properly. You will hear a click when the module is correctly installed.
8. Secure the DIMM by closing the socket latches
