4. Install a full-height tape drive in the open media bays.

5. Connect the device to a PCI SCSI controller card.
NOTE: See Chapter 5, "Cabling the Server," for more information on cabling from PCI
SCSI expansion slots. For adding PCI expansion boards, see the "Adding Expansion
Boards (PCI Hot Plug Slots 1 through 11)" section later in this chapter.
6. Remove the right side access panel. See the "Removing the Right Side
Access Panel" section in Chapter 3.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury from hot surfaces, allow the
internal system components to cool before touching them.
7. Attach one of the media power cables and the terminated SCSI cable to
the media drive.
NOTE: The ProLiant ML750 server supports a two-device terminated SCSI cable that is
packaged in the bottom of the removable media cage inside your server.
8. Reinstall the removable media frame.
9. Replace the right side access panel.
10. Reconnect the power cords and turn on the server. See the "Powering
Up the Server" section in Chapter 3.
