System Interlocks

The system interlocks in your ProLiant ML750 server provide a closed-loop
checking mechanism for verifying proper component mating and cabling
interconnects between critical server components. The system LED on the
front panel of the server turns amber to indicate that the interlock chain has
been broken.

Three LEDs on the I/O board provide visual assistance in isolating
components to check if the server will not power up due to a broken interlock
chain. The I/O board is located directly beneath the PCI Hot Plug access doors
under the top access panel.
IMPORTANT: To check system interlock LEDs, place the server in Standby with the
power supplies plugged in.
