See "System Interlock Status LED Indicator" in Appendix D for the location of this LED indicator.

Answer
No
Is the Auxiliary Power LED On?
Possible Reasons
The auxiliary power LED indicator may be
burned out and need to be replaced.
The system is not connected to AC power, or no
AC power is available.
A power supply problem exists. The power
supply may not be connected or inserted
properly, may have a damaged connector, or it
may have failed.
The power supply backplane may need to be
replaced.
There is a broken cable connection between the
system and backplane.
Table E-4
The Next Step
Auxiliary power is the power source for
the system interconnect LED indicator
indicators. If that power source does not
exist, the system interconnect LED
indicator indicators do not light to
indicate system interconnect problems.
This is also an indication that there is a
problem other than the system
interconnect preventing the power supply
from turning on.
Check your power source to verify

an adequate supply of AC power.
Remove the power supply and

check for a damaged connector. If
connector appears okay, reinsert
the power supply, firmly and
correctly.
Check for bent pins on all power

cables.
Verify the proper connection of all

power cables.
Refer to "Power Problems" and "General
Hardware Problems" in the Compaq
Servers Troubleshooting Guide for further
options.
