Use this command to disable access by Telnet altogether.
From the SCE(config)# prompt, type no service telnetd, and press Enter.

How to Assign an ACL to the Telnet Interface

From the SCE(config)# prompt, type line vty 0
Step 1
Enables Line Configuration mode.
Type access-class acl-number and press Enter.

acl-number is the ID number of an existing access list.

The following example shows how to assign ACL #1 to the Telnet interface.
