Parallel Printer

Make sure the power to the system unit and printer are off.

2. Connect the printer cable to the printer port on the rear of the system unit (see
Figure 3-28).
3. Secure the cable with the screws provided.
4. Connect the other end to the printer.

Serial Devices

1. Make sure the power to the system unit and serial device are off.
NOTE: Before connecting a printer to the
system, be sure that you have set up the printer
correctly. Follow the setup instructions that
come with the printer.

device correctly. Follow the setup instructions
that come with the option.
