Connecting a Parallel Printer
Note:
system, be sure the printer is set up correctly.
Follow the setup instructions that came with the
printer.
Connect a parallel printer to the system as follows.
1. Turn off power to the system and printer.
2. Connect the printer cable to the printer port on the rear of
the system unit (see the following figure).
3. Secure the cable with the screws provided.
4. Connect the other end of the cable to the printer.
5. Turn on the printer and the computer.
