If you are installing a 3 1/2-inch hard disk drive, see "Installing the 3 1/2-Inch Drive."
Remove the system unit cover as previously described (see "System Unit Cover

Remove the side panel by removing the two screws from the top of the panel.

Removing the Front Panel

Remove the front panel only if you are installing a 5 1/4-inch device. The front panel does
not need to be removed if you are installing a 3 1/2-inch hard disk drive.
If you are installing a 3 1/2-inch hard disk drive, see "Installing the 3 1/2-Inch Drive."

Remove the front panel by releasing the six tabs from the back of the front panel.
