This subsection includes installation procedures for the
following external options:
parallel printer
serial devices
SCSI devices.
Connecting a Parallel Printer
NOTE
sure the printer is set up correctly. Follow the setup
instructions that come with the printer.
Connect a parallel printer to the system as follows.
Turn off power to the system and printer.

Connect the printer cable to the printer port on the rear
of the system unit.

Secure the cable with the screws provided.
