Use BIOS Setup
the following fields to prevent conflicts between the Plug and Play and ISA legacy
boards. You should not install and use run-time Plug and Play software such as
Configuration Managers and the ISA Configuration Utility (ICU).
Boot with PnP OS
The Boot with PnP OS field enables the system to boot with an operating system capable of
managing Plug and Play add-in cards. The choices are as follows.

ISA Shared Memory Size
The ISA Shared Memory Size field is used to set a block of system memory that will not be
shadowed. (Shadowing is a technique that copies a block of memory from an address in the
expansion board's ROM to the same address in the system memory to allow faster access to
the code and achieve higher performance.)
If "Disabled," all upper memory is shadowed and the ISA Shared Memory Base Address
field is not displayed. This field provides the following choices.
When a value other than "Disabled" is selected, a block is unshadowed and the ISA Shared
Memory Base Address field appears.

The BIOS depends upon the information provided by you in
