Model 3610 DSU Installation

The DSU must be placed within 6 feet of a dedicated
grounded ac outlet that is protected by a circuit breaker.
Label the circuit breaker that protects the ac wall outlet,
and make sure that it is set to ON.
Allow 1 to 2 feet of clearance around the DSU for
access and cable connections during installation.

To install the DSU:

Procedure
1. Place the Model 3610 DSU in its planned location.
Do not block the ventilation slots on the sides, and
be sure to provide adequate clearance at the rear
for the cable connections.
2. If necessary, change the hardware straps as
indicated in the
chapter.
