Learn how to replace the boards, cards, and other electronic components in the projector.

Card cage

The card cage is located on the operator side of the projector.
Removing this assembly requires the removal of the security ring, which breaks projector marriage.
Only Christie-authorized service technicians should perform marriage.
1. Remove the front-top cover (on page 50).
2. Remove the high-security cover (on page 51).
3. Remove the communications panel cover (on page 54).
4. Disconnect harnesses J51 and J53 (A and B in the image below).
5. Disconnect the P5, P6, and P8 (C to E in the image in step 4) connectors from the CAVE on top
of the card cage.
6. Remove the three mini-SAS connections (F in the image in step 4).
7. Unroute the mini-SAS cables from the clip.
8. Remove the two screws securing the card cage bracket.
