Lamp door interlock

The lamp door interlock is fastened to the frame.
Warning! If not avoided, the following could result in death or serious injury.
• This procedure must be performed by Christie qualified technicians.
• SHOCK HAZARD! Disconnect the product from AC before installing, moving, servicing, cleaning,
removing components, or opening any enclosure.
• EXPLOSION HAZARD! Always wear manufacturer approved protective safety clothing (gloves,
jacket, face shield) whenever the lamp door is open or when handling the lamp. Any local or
federal specifications take precedence over Christie's protective clothing recommendations.
1. Open the lamp door (on page 53).
2. Remove the lamp (on page 74).
3. Disconnect the red and black leads from the lamp door interlock.
On the interlock, the red lead is to the No label and the black lead is to the COM label.
4. Remove the two screws securing the bracket to the projector frame and remove it.
5. Remove the two nuts securing the switch to the bracket.
