9. Disconnect the four fan harnesses from their inline connectors.
10. Replace the fans required by removing the rubber isolators from each fan.
11. To re-install, follow these steps in reverse order.
Card cage bottom exhaust fans
The bottom card cage fans draw air out of the light engine/card cage compartments. The card cage
assembly must be removed to access these fans.
1. Remove the front-top cover (on page 50).
2. Remove the high-security cover (on page 51).
3. Remove the communications panel cover (on page 54).
4. Disconnect the two harnesses from the fans.
5. Remove the card cage (on page 88).
6. Remove the two screws securing the fan compartment cover plate to the base.
